Do You Run a Holiday Park ?
If you are running a Holiday Park, you would know that the cost of water from tourist showers (including illegal activity!) is a large portion of your monthly bills.
Don’t worry – we have shower timer units that can help solve the issue of water waste from long showers, and stolen water from tourists that are happy to drop in for a quick shower at your expense !
First, in all holiday parks we recommend the use of vandal resistant products like the Standard Shower Timer or Heavy Duty Shower Timer. This helps the longevity of your product to keep down costs.
Second, the selection of the correct shower timer for your holiday park is whether you have access to your pipes, or not.
- If you have access to your pipes then the Standard Shower Timer is recommended. It can be located within a dry location inside the shower (so as to see the visual display and hear the beeps) or outside the shower cubicle (but you may not see or hear the queues.)
- Otherwise we recommend the installation of the Heavy Duty Shower Timer which easily fits over your shower head, and comes with a 12 DC power pack which can be installed above or in the ceiling.
- Alternatively, if you would like to provide your customers with access to a single shower per day, then a PIN Model Shower Timer might work – depending on your situation. Note that the units only allows up to 10 PIN codes for use, so it would normally be suitable in a Hotel Room where you provide the codes on a per room basis, which would allow up to 5 people to use 2 PIN codes each per day so they can shower both morning and night. These are programmable after installation, and access to your water pipes is essential. A 5m data cable is supplied, if desired, to connect the unit to the solenoid.
