When you shop through our online store you can have the confidence that your purchase is covered by the NZ Consumer Guarantee Act (CGA).
This gives you peace of mind for your purchase, which covers things like:

Acceptable quality
All our shower timers are specifically designed for the purposes of showering in various areas and climates. Having sold thousands of our shower timers all around the world, our most common compliment is that “it does the job” from many happy and satisfied customers.
If, after following the installation and usage guidelines, and you are within the warranty period (see below), you are unhappy with the quality of the product, or if it is malfunctioning, then please Contact Us with a description of the problem. We may ask you for photos and/or video of the installation and performance and we will help troubleshoot your issue for full resolution.
If the problem persists and you are entitled to a warranty claim, then we will ship a replacement part of product (at our discretion) that we believe will help resolve your issue.
Fit for a particular use
All our shower timers are designed for use within a shower environment, and used in accordance with the design specifications of the unit at the time of your purchase.
If your shower timer does not function “fit for the purpose it was intended for” – according to the specific product description and design of the unit – then we will happily consult with you to determine the best course of action to handle the product. This may lead to a warranty claim, fault replacement, or other course of action.
Warranty claims will be denied where it is shown that the installation or usage of the product is inconsistent with the intended purpose of the shower timer unit, or if it is outside the warranty claim period.
Match description, sample or demonstration model
Each shower timer is designed with a specific purpose in mind. That description is on each page of the website and a comparison of products and their intended use and installation is listed on the page “Which Timer Is Best“.
If you feel that your purchase does not match the description of the product, please Contact Us so that we can work through your specific needs, as well as provide a course of action to take if required.
Reasonable price
Our products are created to be world class, purchased from many people in many countries. We have extensively bench-marked the price of our product in comparison with other products in the market place and firmly stand behind our pricing, which is based on: cost of product creation, administration, shipping and handling fees, distribution costs, GST, storage, and customer demand.
When you purchase our product we understand that it is something that you have had time to consider in terms of being fit for purpose, reasonable price and expected level of quality. You agree that all installation costs are excluded from your purchase with us, and that this has been considered when you purchased the product.
The moment you make a purchase of our product through our online store you agree that our selling price is reasonable. We will decline any requests for a refund based on pricing. Similarly, we will also decline all refund requests due to “change of heart” or “wrong colour” or “wrong size” unless the description of the product is incorrect or incomplete.
Right to sell products
The shower timer is designed and patented by our parent company Aquaflow Distributors. We distribute the product nationally and internationally through the use of various websites (like this one).
We have the right to sell the Shower Timer in New Zealand. There are no restrictions under New Zealand law (that we are aware of) that prohibit the sale or use of the shower timer in New Zealand.
Product arrives on time and in good condition
As advertised upon sale, the time to deliver goods is around 10 business days from date of purchase. We will inform you when the product has been sent and an expected arrival time at your recipient address.
Disclaimer: We have no control over events that may cause delays such as weather events, public holidays, festive seasons, and the like – which may cause postage handling to become a little slower than expected. If in doubt, or if you would like expedited shipping, please Contact Us prior to purchase.
The sale of all our products are in “brand new” condition. We do not sell second hand or faulty products. If, upon receiving the item, you find the product to be damaged or faulty, then please Contact Us so that we can arrange a replacement, and how to return the original item to us (at no cost to yourself). We will follow up with our shipping company for any damage that results in the shipping and handling process.
Spare parts and repair facilities available
Due to the nature of our store, we provide full support for all spare parts from our warehouse through online shipping. If, in the event of a fault with the unit which is deemed to be under warranty, we will provide the part free of charge (including shipping) to your nominated address. It will be up to you to replace the part, which in some cases may require the services of a technician or handyman.
If the product is outside the Manufacturers Warranty and you would like to order a part, then please Contact Us and we will arrange an invoice that covers the cost of the replacement part as well as shipping from our warehouse. Shipping of replacement parts takes around 10 days.
Manufacturers guarantee
We are here to support you. If you have any problem with the product after installation, please Contact Us in the first instance to try and resolve the problem. Most issues are solved within the first contact that customers have with us.
If we are unable to help you directly then we will seek assistance from the manufacturer of the product. This may take a couple of days but we will be timely in our communication with you and the manufacturer.
If you are unhappy with the way we are handling your support question, you may then contact the manufacturer directly. If you attempt to contact the manufacturer without seeking our help first then you will be referred back to us from the manufacturer to troubleshoot any support issues you may have,

Warranty
Shower Timer carries a guarantee against defects in materials or workmanship for a period of twelve months from the date of purchase for non-commercial use, and 90 days for commercial or industrial installations.
For all Warranty claims, please Contact Us with a description of your problem and proof of purchase via our contact form. Or feel free to call us and leave a message.
We reserve the right to charge a restocking fee for any products returned, up to $120 NZD. This helps cover the time it takes for our warehouse technicians to investigate any issues you may bne experiencing, delivery/from NZ, etc.
We will attend to your email promptly, with the aim to resolve all issues within 72 hours.
For refunds, we aim to pay all agreed refund amounts within 14 days of first raising the issue with us. You will need to provide your bank details, and we will confirm payment with you when it has been sent.
